1. Introduction

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Riolin website and online store, and any related pages, content, features, products, and services (collectively, the “Services”).

Riolin (“we,” “us,” “our”) operates the Services. Our storefront is hosted on Shopify, which provides the e-commerce platform used to run the store.

By using the Services, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

2. Eligibility & Account Responsibilities

You may use the Services only if you are at least the age of majority where you live. If you permit a minor to use the Services on a device you control, you are responsible for that use.

If you create an account or provide checkout information, you agree that:

  • The information you provide is accurate and kept up to date.
  • You will protect your login details and are responsible for activity under your account.
  • You will not sell, share, transfer, or license your account to another person.

We may refuse, suspend, or terminate accounts where permitted by law (for example, suspected fraud or misuse).

3. Products, Content, and Availability

We try to present products clearly, but the Services may contain inaccuracies, and product appearance can vary due to screens, settings, lighting, and device differences.

Unless we explicitly promise otherwise in writing:

  • Product images are illustrative, not a guarantee of exact color/appearance.
  • Product details, pricing, and availability may be changed at any time.
  • We may limit quantities or discontinue items at our discretion, where lawful.

4. Orders & Acceptance

Placing an order is a request to purchase, not a binding acceptance by us. An order becomes accepted only when:

  • Payment is successfully processed; and
  • We confirm the order (for example, by confirmation email or shipment processing).

We may cancel or refuse orders where permitted by law, including for suspected fraud, inventory issues, pricing errors, or policy violations. If we change or cancel an order, we will attempt to notify you using the contact details provided at checkout.

Purchases are intended for personal/household use only. Resale, commercial redistribution, or export may be prohibited.

5. Pricing, Taxes, and Payments

Prices and promotions may change at any time. The amount charged is the amount shown at checkout at the time you place the order.

Unless stated otherwise, prices typically exclude:

  • Shipping and handling
  • Taxes
  • Customs, duties, import fees, and related charges

You authorize us (and our payment partners) to charge your chosen payment method for your order total. You represent that you are authorized to use the payment method and that payment will be honored.

If a promotion has separate terms, those terms apply to that promotion if there is a conflict.

6. Shipping, Delivery Estimates, and Risk of Loss

Delivery timelines are estimates and not guarantees. We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs, weather, or events beyond reasonable control.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, risk of loss and title pass to you when the shipment is handed to the carrier (or as otherwise required by applicable law).

7. Returns and Refunds

Returns, refunds, and exchanges (if offered) are governed only by our Return & Refund Policy. If you request a return outside the Return & Refund Policy, we may deny it.

8. Intellectual Property

All rights in the Services and their content—including designs, text, graphics, images, videos, audio, trademarks, logos, and layout—belong to Riolin or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.

You may use the Services only for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from the Services without our prior written permission, except where such restriction is prohibited by law.

“Riolin” and related names/marks are trademarks of Riolin. Shopify marks are trademarks of Shopify. Other marks belong to their owners.

9. Third-Party Services, Tools, and Links

The Services may include third-party apps, integrations, embedded features, or links to third-party websites. We do not control third parties and are not responsible for their content, policies, security, or services.

Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and may be governed by the third party’s own terms and policies.

10. Shopify Platform Notice

Shopify provides the platform that powers our online store. Your purchase is from Riolin, not from Shopify. Shopify is not responsible for the products sold, customer service, or disputes between you and Riolin, to the extent permitted by law.

11. Privacy

Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy. Because the store runs on Shopify, Shopify may process certain information about your use of the Services to provide and improve its platform.

12. User Content & Feedback

If you submit reviews, comments, suggestions, ideas, or other content (“Submissions”), you grant Riolin a worldwide, perpetual, royalty-free, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, translate, distribute, and display the Submissions in any media for lawful business purposes (including improving and marketing the Services).

You agree that your Submissions:

  • Are not illegal, abusive, defamatory, obscene, or misleading
  • Do not infringe third-party rights (including IP and privacy rights)
  • Do not contain malware or harmful code

We may remove or refuse to display Submissions at our discretion where lawful. You remain responsible for what you submit.

13. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to misuse the Services. Prohibited activities include, without limitation:

  • Breaking laws or encouraging illegal acts
  • Attempting to gain unauthorized access to accounts/systems
  • Scraping, crawling, or automated harvesting without permission
  • Introducing malware, or interfering with security features
  • Abusing, harassing, or threatening others
  • Impersonating any person/entity, or providing deceptive information
  • Sending spam or unauthorized advertising
  • Copying/reselling any part of the Services without authorization

We may suspend or terminate access for prohibited conduct.

14. Suspension and Termination

We may restrict, suspend, or terminate your access to the Services at any time where permitted by law, including if we believe you violated these Terms or used the Services in a harmful or unlawful manner.

Termination does not eliminate obligations you owe (for example, payment obligations for accepted orders).

15. Disclaimers

The Services and products are provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not make guarantees that:

  • The Services will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
  • Product information will always be complete or current
  • Your results or satisfaction will meet expectations

To the extent permitted, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Riolin (and our directors, officers, employees, affiliates, agents, contractors, service providers, licensors) and Shopify and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Services or products purchased through the Services.

Where liability cannot be excluded, it will be limited to the maximum limitation permitted by law.

17. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Riolin and Shopify (and their affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, service providers) from claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of:

  • Your breach of these Terms
  • Your violation of laws or third-party rights
  • Your misuse of the Services or your Submissions

18. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. The unenforceable provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable where possible.

19. No Waiver; Entire Agreement

If we do not enforce a provision, that does not waive our right to enforce it later.

These Terms, together with referenced policies (including the Privacy Policy and Return & Refund Policy), form the entire agreement between you and Riolin regarding the Services.

20. Assignment

You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our written consent. We may assign these Terms as part of a business transfer, merger, restructuring, or similar event, where permitted by law.

21. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by local laws. Unless otherwise provided by applicable law, any dispute shall be settled in the courts located in the jurisdiction of the jurisdiction.

22. Headings

Section titles are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation.

23. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version on the Site. The updated Terms apply from the “Last Updated” date shown above (or another effective date stated in the notice). Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
